Conference Chic, or, How to Dress Like an Anthropologist

I am an anthropologist and musician based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. I currently teach cultural anthropology at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. My research interests include how communities navigate social change through education, technologies, non-government organisations (NGOs), and creative practices, with particular attention to hope and agency in urban contexts.
