I’m going to the AAA in Chicago this year and am keen to meet other blogging and tweeting anthropologists. There are a few of us here in New Zealand and it will be great to meet others from all over the place! I’m not presenting on digital anthropology but will blog and tweet from the conference as I can.

I am an anthropologist and musician based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. I currently teach cultural anthropology at Victoria University of Wellington. My research interests include the anthropology of hope, NGOs and development, music and other creative practices, how people relate to the future, children and youth, gender relations, and agency. These interests and have taken me to India and Papua New Guinea (among other places).
