Goals: To devote one day per week to specifically to writing, and to write for at least one Pomodoro (25 mins) on other days. And to get these writing projects finished!

I am an anthropologist and musician based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. I currently teach cultural anthropology at Victoria University of Wellington. My research interests include the anthropology of hope, NGOs and development, music and other creative practices, how people relate to the future, children and youth, gender relations, and agency. These interests and have taken me to India and Papua New Guinea (among other places).
